How Winraff settlement works (and why it's instant)
The moment the twelfth result is entered, every slip is marked, the pot is split and cash prizes land in wallets. Here is exactly what happens, step by step.
Most pools coupons make you wait for a cheque or a counter. Winraff doesn't. Settlement is a fixed set of rules that runs on its own the moment the last result of the round is in. Nobody decides who wins — the scores do.
1. Only scores are entered
For each of the 12 matches, our team enters the full-time score, plus the half-time score for any HT/FT match. That's it. Nobody types "Over" or "Home win" by hand: every market's winning pick is worked out from the score itself.
If a match is postponed or abandoned, it is marked VOID instead, and every slip gets that pick right.
2. The twelfth result triggers settlement
As soon as all 12 matches have a result, the round settles automatically. There's no queue and no manual approval step in between, which is why winnings can appear in your wallet within moments of the final whistle being recorded.
3. Every slip is marked
Each slip's 12 picks are checked against the results and given a score out of 12. You can see every tick and cross on My Slips, including which picks were correct before the round finished.
4. The cash pot is split
The pot is every slip sold in the round, less a 20% house cut, plus any rollover carried in from earlier rounds. It is shared out like this:
| Correct picks | Share of the pot |
|---|---|
| 12/12 | 50% |
| 11/12 | 30% |
| 10/12 | 20% |
Slips in the same tier split that tier equally. If a tier has no slips, its share rolls over to next week's pot.
5. Finishing positions and weekly prizes
Every slip then gets a finishing position: most cash won first, then most correct picks, then the earliest slip bought. The weekly MoMo cash prizes are handed out in that order — 1st prize to the best-placed slip that reaches the qualifying score, 2nd prize to the next, and so on. Each player can win one weekly prize per round.
Prize cash is paid straight into the winner's Winraff wallet at the same moment as the pot. From there you can withdraw to your MoMo number.
6. The leaderboard updates
Because ranking happens during settlement, the leaderboard and the round results update at the same time. What you see on the table is the same calculation that paid out the money.
