The 8 markets explained — and why Correct Score pays big
Every match on the coupon carries one market. Some give you two ways to be right; Correct Score gives you nineteen ways to be wrong. Here's how each one works.
A Winraff coupon isn't twelve home-draw-away calls. Each match carries its own market, set before the coupon opens. You make one pick per match, and the score decides whether it's right. Here are all eight.
1X2 — Match result
Pick 1 for a home win, X for a draw or 2 for an away win. Three options, one correct.
DC — Double chance
Cover two results at once: 1X (home or draw), 12 (either team wins) or X2 (away or draw). Two of the three options win every time, so it's the safest market on the coupon.
O/U 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5 — Goals over or under
Call whether the total goals in the match go over or under the line. With O/U 2.5, a 2–1 is Over (three goals) and a 1–1 is Under (two goals). The half-goal line means there's never a tie.
BTTS — Both teams to score
Yes if both sides score at least once, No if either side keeps a clean sheet. A 0–0 and a 3–0 are both No.
HT/FT — Half-time / Full-time
Call the result at half-time and at full-time together, e.g. X/1 means level at the break, home win at the end. Nine options, one correct. Comebacks like 2/1 are rare, which is exactly why this market is flagged Big odds.
Score — Correct score
Name the exact final score from a grid of 16 common scores, from 0–0 to 3–3. If the score isn't on the grid — a 4–1, say — the winning pick is Other: home win, draw or away win.
That's 19 options with exactly one winner. Even well-read football fans get this one wrong most weeks.
Why the big-odds markets matter
The cash pot is split between slips that get 10, 11 or 12 right, and the weekly prizes go down the finishing order. When a coupon carries HT/FT and Correct Score, far fewer slips reach the top tiers — so the slips that do are sharing a bigger slice with fewer people. When nobody hits a tier, it rolls over and the next pot grows.
In short: the safe markets keep you in the game; the big-odds markets decide who wins it.
